Conference Center

The Comfort Inn Conference Center hotel is located in Bowie, MD, a Washington DC area hotel near the Bowie Town Center. The client hired HD Squared Architects to update the look and feel of the existing Conference Center while lightening up the feel of the space with new finishes. HD Squared Architects provided Architectural Services, Interior Design, Permit Drawings/Permit Expediting and Construction Management services for this project.

The 7,500 square-foot conference center can accommodate up to 600 people or be divided into six sections for smaller meetings or events. There is also a break-out area directly outside the center which can be used for socializing, telephone calls or registrations. HD Squared Architects selected all new finishes throughout the conference center which includes new carpeting, new paint and wallcoverings and new window treatments. The work in this area was phased due to the schedule of events in the conference center.

• Freshly painted brick-lined concourse enlivens the space and accentuates updated carpet and window valances that frame countless views of the newly surfaced pool deck outside.

• 7,500 sq. ft of Conference space allows for maximum flexibility from six partitioned spaces to one large for any event. Newly resurfaced walls and custom trim work add a touch of elegance.
