Architectural Staff I - Revit Specialist / Production Designer
We’re looking for an Architectural Staff I/ Revit-savvy production designer who is exceptional at building clean, efficient models and construction documents and who’s excited to be the internal go-to person as our team transitions from ArchiCAD to Revit to join our mission-driven team. This is a full-time position for someone early in career, who is confident working independently but also thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in designing and documenting sustainable residential and commercial projects of moderate size and complexity. We’re a growing firm, which means you’ll be exposed to every phase of the architectural process, with real potential to grow in responsibility, leadership, and licensure support.

What You’ll Do
This is a technical production role for someone who is highly fluent in Revit, detail-focused, and comfortable fielding Revit questions from teammates learning the software. While we will be participating in formal training during the transition, you will be the person people come to for day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance. You don’t need to be a licensed architect or on the licensure track. Skill, accuracy, and strong Revit fluency matter far more.
You’ll work directly with our Principal Architect and Design team to:
- Produce design and construction documents in ArchiCAD and / or Revit for renovation and small construction projects
- Assist with maintaining officewide Revit standards, templates, and families
- Serve as the internal “Revit point person” during our software transition
- Troubleshoot questions and help colleagues’ problem-solve as they adapt to Revit
- Collaborate with project architects to deliver clean, buildable construction documents
- Support the development of best-practice documentation for project setup and workflows
- Participate in our small, highly collaborative studio culture
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Professional degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Architecture
- 3–5 years of architectural experience, preferably in a U.S.-based firm
- Proficient in construction documentation and detailing
- Strong, hands-on Revit proficiency (must have) with willingness to work in ArchiCAD until full transition.
- Confidence navigating modeling, drafting, sheets, families, and troubleshooting
- Patience, clarity, and a collaborative mindset — people will ask you questions!
- Good time management and consistency in production
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials\
- Basic understanding of current residential and commercial building codes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Passion for high-performance design and a values-aligned team culture
Bonus Points For:
- Progress toward licensure (AXP, exams, mentorship welcome)
- Experience with historic preservation or small commercial work
- Graphic design or rendering skills
- Previous work with high-performance building systems and green building certifications
- ArchiCAD familiarity
